My husband found VanDorne because of its high rating, and they did not disappoint! Working with Paige from the beginning, she listened to our concerns and ideas and communicated openly with us throughout the entire process. Our design was simple but still such a huge change and definitely an improvement. Our front yard now matches our backyard and is no longer an eyesore thanks to Jose and his team! We were most excited about getting pavers to expand our driveway and add a path to our backyard, and the craftsmanship on the pavers is beautiful. They worked constantly and were very punctual, organized, and neatly sorted out their equipment at the end of the day. We recently purchased a new build construction and were very excited to get our landscaping done for our backyard. We had reached out to a few designers for quotes. After meeting with Kyle and Paige, we knew immediately VanDorne would be our choice. They understood our vision, and we quickly got the ball rolling. The process was seamless. His team showed up promptly and got right to work. The efficiency and the attention to detail were incredibly impressive. The entire team was friendly and respectful of our space. Every single day after they finished, the entire area was cleaned up and organized. We were told it would take a week to complete, and true to their word, work was finished right on time as promised. We are beyond pleased with how it all turned out. The paver work is absolutely beautiful, and the turf install looks amazing! Being able to pick out my own plants was a highlight of the process! Project completed in 10 days
We hired VanDorne for a remodel of our Ivins backyard that included filling in a leaking pool that the pool builder refused to take responsibility for. Kyle came and sat with us and helped us come up with a simple, no-maintenance design involving artificial turf, pavers, boulders, river rock, and small block walls. Installation of electrical outlets and wiring for future landscape lighting throughout were also included. Time was of the essence for us as we had a family visit scheduled, and Kyle assured us that the project could be completed in 10 days. Having heard similar claims from other contractors we have hired in the past, we smiled knowingly. The VanDorne crew would arrive promptly at 7:00 a.m. every morning with the crew leader Jose keeping me informed of the battle plan for that day. Kyle also visited the project every day and made sure we were happy with the goings-on. Materials (road base, pavers, blocks, boulders, turf) were always delivered in a timely manner such that the project was never stalled. Our neighbors were also happy that they were never inconvenienced by the project, as the crew always cleaned up at day's end. The project was completed in 10 days as promised. All walls and pavers were pressure-washed twice during final clean-up, and the driveway and street were also pressure-washed prior to the crew departing for the final time. Nice touches: - VanDorne thoughtfully added a faucet where the pool equipment used to be instead of simply capping the water line. - When they noticed the irrigation backflow preventer had been installed WITH ELECTRICAL PVC CONDUIT(???) they reinstalled it with correct pipe. Overall, we were very satisfied with VanDorne and highly recommend them.
